Just joined the “7 Day Blog Challenge” from Live your Legend. The point is to spend 10-20 minutes everyday writing about something that is important to me.
Today I am thinking about how to make our service center in Carlsbad, NM more efficient, along with staying on top of all my various work projects. I am also deciding if I should figure out a way to go to the lecture at UCSB tonight by Mark Shapiro, entitled “CARBON SHOCK: Seeking Equilibrium in the Climate-Distrupted Economy” or if I should just go home and do laundry. Rick has the car today, so my transportation modes are limited to foot, bus, borrowing a car, or finding a friend to come with me to the talk. Jury is out for the moment, but honestly doing this blog might be the deciding factor to getting there. It would be a much better story tomorrow if I wrote about “Carbon Shock” than if I wrote about doing laundry and watching old episodes of Grey’s Anatomy or Supernatural on Netflix.
Ciao for now.
